Feline Feedback
We often get cards, calls or emails from adoptive parents to let us know how their new "family" member is settling in. One very special new "mom" decided to send us a video she had done of the two cats she adopted from CARES in the summer of 2006.
Sharon Brennan of Bellingham, WA adopted "Mindy", an exotic shorthaired gal whose original family no longer wanted. She also adopted "Scruffy", (suitably named at the time he came to CARES as he indeed was scruffy!) who she later named "Luna". Scruffy was a stray rescued by a CARES volunteer. Sharon adopted these two cats as she felt her own cat "Twas" was lonely and needed some feline friends. How are the cats now? The video says it all. Enjoy!
Starring as themselves; Twas - Black with white, Mindy - White with "tabby" markings, and Scruffy/Luna - Grey.
Here is a love story beautifully captured with photos and music by Larry Fardo of Vernon, BC. Larry and his wife Beryl, former CARES volunteers 1st adopted Benny, (a tabby) from CARES. Then came Hannah, a lovely little black and white gal. The photos and music say it all. Click on the cartoon picture to see the story!
